Wondershare MePub builds electronic books in the EPUB format from a wide variety of text-based documents. The program supports all the most widely used document formats, such as PDF, HTML, TXT, and MS Word. Its wizard-like interface and the simplicity of the few steps required to build the book makes it an EPUB creation tool suitable for the novice and the expert user alike.
MePub is the new brand name of the already known Wondershare or AnyBizSoft EPUB Builder. The main functionality present in EPUB Builder remains basically the same, as well as its wizard-based creation process, which will let you fill in some basic metadata (title, author, language, subject, etc.) and customize the layout of the output document (margins, spacing, text and background colors, etc.). The lack of more sophisticated settings - when it comes to determining the final layout of your EPUB file - makes the whole process a lot simpler, though it puts an extra burden on the level of structuring and the quality of the layout of the source files.
The newly created EPUB file will faithfully resemble the look and feel of the original Word, PDF, or HTML files used to build it, including any existing hyperlinks and images. These, however, can be “turned off” when creating the EPUB file.
